Responding to Bullying in Today’s World

This seminar will focus on providing practical ways to deal with the complex and emotionally
difficult issue of bullying. We will specifically look at emotional signs that your child may be
the victim of bullying, ways to confront and deal with bullying and moving past the emotional
pain of being bullied.

Finding a Good College Fit

portion of the session will be devoted to the topic of Financial Aid.
What is Normal and What is Not Normal in Teenage Emotions and Behaviors?

This session will explore the turbulent and confusing nature of teenage emotions and behaviors. We
will look at normal teenage emotions and behaviors as well as problematic emotions and behaviors.
We will also discuss depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD as well as other issues common to teenagers.
A Student's Take on Today’s Church
Panel: Chip Huber, Mitchel Lee, Jeff Klein, and 2 former WA students
Tuesday, April 27th 7:00‐8:30pm
Join us for a panel discussion on how teenagers view today's church, why they often don't want to
be part of the church, how you can encourage them to be part of the body of Christ, and where they
may take the church in the years ahead. Chip Huber, our former Dean of Spiritual Life, will return
for the evening and be joined by a number of local pastors involved with youth as well as two
former Wheaton Academy students.
