Junior Senior Banquet
The Junior Senior Banquet will be held this Saturday, May 14 from 7:00-10:00 p.m in the Wheaton Academy Commons. Hors d' oeuvres and desserts will be served.
1. Juniors: Final time to participate in decorating for Junior/ Senior:
Friday, May 13 from 3 p.m. until we're done (We need many of our juniors to participate this evening.)
2. We need many WHITE Christmas lights for decorations. Please have junior students bring the Christmas lights to either Mrs. Main's or Ms. Daniels's room. Please clearly label your lights so that we can return them to you.
Academy Awards – Wednesday, May 18 – 7:00 p.m.
All Wheaton Academy families are invited to celebrate the gifts of character and achievement that God has bestowed on our students. Invitations were mailed out last week. If your student will be receiving an award, you received an insert in the invitation. To maintain the element of surprise; we are not permitted to disclose who is receiving which award prior to the ceremony. We look forward to celebrating our students with you on Wednesday night!
Arts Exhibit & Ceramics Sale – Wednesday, May 18 – 6:00 p.m.
We are excited to offer our annual Arts Exhibit & Ceramics Sale. The exhibit and sale will be open before and after the ceremony. Begin your tour with the Hadi Flora Memorial Gallery located in the Atrium and see some amazing art work from our Visual Arts classes. Conclude your visual art experience in the Senior Lounge. You will be able to view and purchase beautiful ceramic pieces made by our own Ceramics students – and help a very worthy cause. Proceeds will go to benefit Hand and Cloth, a ministry which helps the women of Bangladesh and Calcutta. The students and missionaries from Hand and Cloth appreciate all purchases made this evening.2011-2012 Billing

REMINDER: Prescription and Over the Counter Medications
Any and all medications must be dispensed from the nurse's office. Students may not carry medicine with them, except for emergency self-administered medication with a doctor's permission. Save the Date for the Baccalaureate Service
All seniors and their families are invited to attend the Baccalaureate Service on Friday, June 3 in the Fine Arts Center. The service will begin at 7:00 p.m. and conclude around 8:00 p.m. The service will include a time of worship, students and parents sharing what Wheaton Academy has meant to them, recent alumni sharing thoughts about what next year will hold for our graduates, and a time of prayer and commissioning. Please join us for this night.

Once again this summer, in addition to the regular summer school ceramics class, we will have an evening ceramics class for the extended WA community
– parents and friends, faculty, any alumni or even graduating seniors who never had time to take ceramics during their four years (or did, but can’t get enough). All WA ladies are invited to Ladies Craft Night on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Booster Club Sponsored Physicals For ALL Athletes
On Wednesday, June 8 the Wheaton Academy Booster Club will be hosting the annual Booster Sports Physicals event. All athletes are required to have a valid physical on file before they are eligible to compete. Physicals are valid for a year after the examination date. The event will take place in the Library and the price for the IHSA Sports Physical is $30. A detailed flyer is available in the Athletic Office. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting Wheaton Academy Athletics. This physical does not qualify for the 9th grade school physical required by law. Incoming freshman you do not need an IHSA Sports Physical in order to participate in sports..
