|  Some of our Wheaton Academy students are part of the Bartlett Wheaton West Wildhawks, a high school hockey club that WA is sponsoring this year. On December 10, fifteen of the players served veterans at the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton. The boys prepared a home-cooked meal, gift stockings, and decorations for the veterans. The stockings were stuffed with generous donations from team families, friends, and local stores. Items in the stockings included, toiletries, gloves, hats, socks, candies, cookies, snacks, stationary, and stamps. Freshmen Luke Lanham and Christian Kumpf were part of this special day of service. |
