Concert Choir Performs at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
March 19, 2012
As a part of their week-long tour last week, the Wheaton Academy Concert Choir had the enormous honor to perform at the Kennedy Center in our nation's capital. Under the direction of Mr. Joel Visker, the choir performed an hour long concert on the Millennium Stage that was witnessed not only in Washington D.C., but throughout the world streamed live on the Kennedy Center's website.
Since opening in 1971, the Kennedy Center has continued its efforts to fulfill JFK's vision--presenting the greatest performers and performances from across America and around the world, nurturing new works and young artists, and serving the nation as a leader in arts education.
Wednesday's performance by the Wheaton Academy Concert Choir can be viewed in its entirety on the Kennedy Center website, here.
