SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FOR WA STUDENTS
WA’s Project Lead Local has been working with Puente del Pueblo, an outreach ministry from Wheaton Bible Church. Puente Del Pueblo is in need of teen volunteers to work during several summer camps this summer. Obviously any WA students who speak Spanish would be especially helpful. Back to School Camp
runs July 30 through August 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. and volunteers would be helping students with either math, reading, social studies, writing, science or PE. Water Camp
runs Monday, August 6 through Friday, August 10 from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Both of these camps are tons of fun and there is a free lunch with the kids each day!
Contact Kim Rivera
for more information or to volunteer for one or both of these camps.
Reminder from the Student Health Office:
All students who carry inhalers or Epipens at school need a "Request for Self-Administration of Medication" form
filled out yearly. Also also students who have individualized care plans need them updated every year as well.
All forms can be found on our web site under Student Life, Health Services. As you have summer physicals this is a good time to get all these forms done.
