The business world of the 21st century requires innovative thinking, trustworthy ethics, and dynamic leadership. The Business Department is committed to preparing you to be a versatile, forward-thinking producer and consumer in a rapidly changing global economy. While the fundamental, practical knowledge of business principles and technology usage lies at the core of the curriculum, a consistent emphasis on application of that knowledge with biblically sound thinking is woven throughout all the courses.
During first semester, you will focus on microeconomics, examining principles that apply to the functions of individual decision makers, both consumers and producers. Second semester, the course focuses on Macroeconomics and how economists examine aggregate economic behavior. This class will prepare you for AP tests in both Macroeconomics and Microeconomics.
In the Business Club, students enter DECA competitions to display their knowledge in may different areas of business. Students also attend a leadership seminar every fall.
