Med School 101 – Wheaton Academy

Med School 101

Have you ever thought about what it might be like to be a physician? What does it take to get into medical school? Over the course of two weeks, we will explore the field of medicine by talking to different types of physicians in primary care fields and in subspecialties. We will highlight the impact that someone in the medical field can make in a patient’s life and review the actual process of getting into medical school. After this course, a student should be able to make a clearer decision regarding the possibility of entering the field, know where to focus their efforts as they apply, and know what to expect afterward.

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” – Mark 2:17
