Exploring Eastern Europe
If you love culture and discovering new places, this adventurous ten-day trip to Eastern Europe is for you! This trip is for any student that enjoys sightseeing, art, history and culture. In Berlin, we will explore the Brandenburg Gate and the Berlin Wall, prominent German symbols of freedom and oppression. Prague will take us into a Gothic wonderland, perfect for exploring on foot, as we visit Golden Lane, the Jewish Quarter, and St. Vitus Cathedral. Bratislava and Budapest will lead us into architectural marvels, such as grand government buildings and majestic cathedrals. We will also have the opportunity to visit Sachsenhausen, a concentration camp outside of Berlin. We will eat fantastic food and stay at great hotels. Students must be comfortable with international travel/flights and walking long distances throughout the day. Come explore these remarkable cities, which have sparked the dangers, hopes, and beauty of Europe — yesterday and today!
Families that wish to have their students participate in and attend any WA trip that requires a family financial contribution must first have their tuition account current at the time of application and until the trip departure.
