International Student Program

Wheaton Academy welcomes international boarding students from around the world.

Traditionally, 60 international students attend Wheaton Academy from China, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Peru, India, Ukraine, and South Africa. One of the unique features of this opportunity is the HomeStay program. All international students are placed with American host families to provide a better learning environment along with focused social and emotional support. This program creates a global learning experience for the entire student body.

A student is considered an international student if an I-20 is required for residency AND the student will require housing with an approved Wheaton Academy family during the school year.

There are several steps to the admission process, and families are required to complete all of the steps before they can be considered for admission.

Wheaton Academy will be happy to provide a tour to any international student AFTER the family has completed the application process. Upon completion of the application process, our Admission Office will offer a tour date that works with your schedule.

The total tuition, fees and boarding cost for students enrolled in Wheaton Academy’s International Student Program is $51,400.

Wheaton Academy’s college readiness helped me to thrive at UCSD academically, culturally, and spiritually… Living with a host family during my three-year stay at WA helped me adjust quickly to American culture. Compared to other international students at my university, I am able to adapt to the culture and make friends more easily. Wheaton Academy also equipped me to face spiritual challenges in a secular university through its four-year Bible classes
