Angelica Perry ’03 is blessed to be an alumna of Wheaton Academy. Much of her teaching passions and philosophies were developed during her time here. The “living curriculum” she experienced modeled what it means to be a teacher who can have an eternal impact on students. Angelica earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Trinity International University and has taught in the public school system since 2008. More recently, Angelica earned her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction at Concordia University, Chicago. In 2012, Angelica, along with several family members, founded LTM Heroin Awareness and Support Foundation. Through this work, partnerships developed with Illinois legislatures, DuPage County electives, and the schools within the county limits. Angelica was given a platform to bring awareness to challenging issues that many face today. During her time working with high school students, God confirmed her desire to be used in equipping people with truth found in Jesus. It is her greatest desire to point students to Jesus while walking along side them and preparing them with the tools needed to live out the purpose God uniquely has for each one.
