While her husband completed seminary in Alabama, Jessica taught English at Vestiva Hills High School and Spanish at Northridge High School, both in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  A double-major in Spanish and English, Jessica graduated from Indiana Wesleyan in 2010. Although Jessica is certified to teach both English and Spanish, she prefers to teach Spanish. She says, “I have more fun teaching Spanish.” As a recipient of Christian education, Jessica understands the commitment to Christian education. She believes that to try to explain faith or purpose in a public school setting is like “removing the color from a painting.”
