Melanie Marr joined our faculty in the role of music teacher and accompanist in 2020. In addition serving as the vocal director for the musicals, she teaches music classes and serves as an accompanist for Concert Choir, Women’s Chorale and Men’s Ensemble. 

Melanie has a B.A. in Music Performance (piano and voice) and brings a broad base of experience to Wheaton Academy that spans church music, educational music, and musical theatre.  She has led groups in school, community, and professional settings.  Additionally, Melanie was on the faculty of both Aurora University and Elmhurst College as accompanist and coach and has worked with Show Choir Camps of America and Chicago Children’s Chorus.
