Kim Rivera graduated from Wheaton College in 1999 and has her Masters of Arts in Teaching from Wheaton College. Since beginning her teaching career in 2000, she has taught 8 years in the Kaneland School District, has spent time doing mission work in Mexico City and the rest of her career at Wheaton Academy teaching Spanish. Kim’s passion is helping others to appreciate what God desires to teach them through building relationships with people from other cultures and language groups. She loves connecting students and teachers at Wheaton Academy with the local community by providing opportunities to partner with local public schools with predominantly immigrant families to help not only teach Spanish but build bridges between cultures and languages with a desire to understand more deeply the Kingdom of Christ.
