Kirsten Borrink came to Wheaton Academy in 2019 with over ten years of experience teaching Spanish at both the middle school and high school levels. Kirsten’s love of Spanish language and culture came from her own excellent high school Spanish teachers who inspired her to continue learning the language, and she is eager to help students embark on their Spanish-learning adventure. Kirsten has a wide variety of interests: she is an amateur birder; she loves tracking the weather, especially severe storms; she founded a blog on comfortable footwear, and she enjoys traveling to new places, most recently Costa Rica. She is married to her college sweetheart and has two sons. They also have a Wheaten Terrier who they love like family.
