BA English / Communication, Steven F Austin State University

A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, Trish has had only one career passion: teaching. She has taught English and Communications in both public and Christian schools in Texas, New Mexico, and Illinois, where her husband Bruce has pastored churches. As a department head, Trish appreciates the opportunity to encourage and support newcomers to Wheaton Academy. She also enjoys working with written pieces that need a touch of editing before formal submission. Trish and Bruce, now a chaplain in Geneva, are members of College Church and live in West Chicago with their only daughter’s family—Melanie, Cornelius, Rohan, and Lorelai.
