BEGIN: Freshman Retreat - Wheaton Academy

BEGIN: Freshman Retreat

Calling All Freshmen

On August 16-17, Wheaton Academy will launch the 2018-2019 school year for our incoming Class of 2022 with an off-campus, two-day, one-night retreat. This retreat provides an unique opportunity for our freshman class to connect with each other, learn about WA culture, and prepare for their time at Wheaton Academy. Freshmen students should arrive at Wheaton Academy on August 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Field House, and they will return no later than 5:30 p.m. on August 17 near the Fine Arts Center. Faculty, staff, and seniors who are a part of specific Project LEAD teams will lead the retreats.

We believe it will be a powerful time for reflection, vision casting, prayer, and reconnecting before the school year begins on August 21. Athletics and fine arts programs are aware of the dates and will not have practices during the times of the trips.

Action Steps Needed:

Each student must complete the participation survey and the permission slip before leaving for the retreat.

Click HERE to access the participation survey to confirm each student’s attendance on the retreat. This survey must be completed before leaving for the retreat. Please complete by July 26th.

Most families completed the permission slip during their class registration meeting with Student Services.
