Winterim 2023

For over 30 years, Wheaton Academy has proudly offered the Winterim program to our students. This Wheaton Academy distinctive opens the door for our young people to explore their passions, learn practical skills, and ultimately, discover more about themselves and who God has created them to be.

Our Service Projects class packs packages for Ronald McDonald House in Chicago.

Discovering Passions

In Winterim classes, students dive deeply into specialized skills and topics, often discovering a calling or passion that drives decisions for years to come.

“Service Projects,” one of this year’s new classes, provided opportunities to connect and partner with the ministries that serve our local community.

Traveling the Globe

Recognizing and celebrating the uniqueness within our student body is one way we build a Kingdom Community. Winterim trips are another way to celebrate differences and take joy in honoring the diversity of God’s creation in the cultures and places we visit around the world.

Students on two of this year’s trips had the opportunity to visit the homes of their international classmates in Vietnam and the Dominican Republic.

Gaining Professional Experience

Internships provide exposure to professional mentors and often influence the decisions that students make as they look ahead towards college.

Thank You!

Many of our students would be unable to engage in such a unique and meaningful experience were it not for your generous and ongoing support. Thank you for the impact you are having in the lives of our students. I am truly grateful for your partnership.
