Senior Reflections

Through our Business and Innovation program, 3 Wheaton Academy students, competed with 18,000 students from across the US at the DECA's National competition in Orlando, Florida in April. Special congratulations to Sam DeCastro ‘24 for placing in the top 15 for one of her role-play events!

This year, our Robotics team won the “Best Design” award, developed new partnerships with middle school programs in the area, secured sponsorships from PricewaterhouseCoopers and Matrix Design, AND hosted robotics competitions on campus for the first time.

Our Wheaton Academy Mathletes team competed in the Division 2A State competition and placed 5th, achieving state championships in two categories.

Congratulations to Katie Montana and Megan Lindberg for placing second in the SCARCE Sustainable Design Challenge with their sustainable café design.

Each month, a group of students served adoptive and foster families by providing childcare through Replanted.

ILMEA - Three students received ILMEA All State recognition for their musical accomplishments. Congratulations to Rohan Marr (Jazz Band and Composition), Brendan Novak (Honors Orchestra), and Scotty Murray (Composition)!

Through genuine relationships with teachers, I’ve been encouraged and challenged as a learner and, most importantly, as a follower of Christ. The teachers who walk alongside me have set an example of what it means to be a faithful and hopeful Christian—and that’s been formational in my growth. I know that this gift will continue to impact me into adulthood.
