Athletics – Wheaton Academy

Wheaton Academy Athletics

The Wheaton Academy Athletic Department believes the principles and lessons learned in the classroom, at home, and through the local church, can be put into practice through athletics.

Sports provides student-athletes with the opportunity to glorify God by using their gifts in a competitive venue. The Athletic Department is striving for excellence in all of our levels and is committed to developing each individual sport into a successful program. Many of our teams are very competitive and offer our student-athletes the chance to compete against some of the best high school programs in the state. We also offer one sport or activity in each season that is “no-cut” and allows our students the opportunity to play if they so desire. Our coaches are Godly role models who seek to partner with students and parents to encourage the development of Christ-like attitudes and behaviors both on and off the field of competition.

Wheaton Academy is a member of the IHSA and the Suburban Christian Conference (SCC). The Warriors have seen success at both the conference and state level. Since 1980 the Warriors have brought home:

  • 105 Conference Championships
  • 55 Regional Championships
  • 21 Sectional Championships
  • 9 Super-Sectional Championships
  • 5 State Championships (Girls Soccer – 2004, 2009, 2016; Boys Golf – 2009; Boys Soccer – 2014)
