Running is a passion,
but faith defines us.

Wheaton Academy is home to excellent running programs! Our 17-time State-qualifying Girls Cross Country team recently secured 3rd place at State for the third time in a row. Our boys team qualified for State 19 times. From our Track and Field team, we’ve had over 50 individual state qualifiers over the past 20 years. However, it is what takes place inside the heart, mind and soul of a Wheaton Academy runner that drives what we are about.

Cross Country is the most memorable part of my Wheaton Academy experience. I transferred to Wheaton Academy my junior year, and the whole team was so welcoming and made me feel loved. Everyone here is kind and encouraging. We understand one another and build one another up. The coaches are amazing and find a healthy balance between pushing us and encouraging us. I made countless memories with the team. Running has made my Wheaton Academy experience a thousand times more memorable and incredible!

Stephanie Gregersen

I was blessed to be a three-sport athlete, running cross country and track, and playing on the JV girls basketball team. My coaches were always discipling me and encouraging me to develop my talents in both athletics and leadership. Wheaton Academy gave me everything I needed to be prepared for the Air Force Academy and future service to my country. The rigorous academic classes, the athletic opportunities, Winterim, co-curriculars, and other service opportunities prepared me for what God has in store for me.
