Chris Felinski, a Wheaton Academy alum, graduated from Judson College with degrees in Mathematics and Science. He earned his MAT in Secondary Education from Aurora University. Chris began his Wheaton Academy career teaching computer skills before moving into Math, where he has taught for more than 20 years. He served as Science Department Head from 2012–2017, during which the school added a science wing, launched an engineering program, and introduced a Theology and Science course. He also founded the MASTER Program, which integrates STEM research with a Biblical worldview. Since 2017, Chris has led the Math Department, expanding course offerings from Foundations of Algebra to Multivariable Calculus. In addition to teaching, Chris has served as Assistant IT Director/Database Administrator for nearly two decades, founded the “Go West Young Man” Winterim trip, and coached cross country and track for over 20 years, leading more than 50 athletes to all-conference honors or state competition. Coach Felinski is USATF certified, a member of the ITCCCA, and was named the Daily Herald Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year in 2015 for DuPage County.
