A Message from Our Principal
"In Habakuk 1:5, God says, 'I am going to do something in your days that you could never have imagined even if you tried.' Now God didn't cause this pandemic, but he is using these circumstances—and he is using us—to do his work. So I have two challenges for you. First, where is your contentment? I hope and pray that we all find our contentment in Jesus. My second challenge is that, as we are content, it frees us to see what God is doing and join in his work. We know that God is doing something right now in May of 2020 that we could never have imagined. I don't know about you, but I want to be part of that."

History Students Enjoy Guest Lecturer
Dr. Fred Johnson
This week, Mrs. Rinker and Ms. Dunlap hosted a zoom chat for our US History Classes with Dr. Fred Johnson from Hope College. Dr. Johnson grew up in the Philippines during the Vietnam War, was a Marine, and—as an African American—was beaten by police during his involvement in the Civil Rights movement. It is a privilege for Wheaton Academy students to hear from Dr. Johnson.
