Two students named All-State Musicians by the ILMEA

The lLMEA music festival, a four-day event held in January each year, is one of the most prestigious high school music honors in the state of Illinois.

This year, two Wheaton Academy students were selected through competitive audition to participate in the Illinois Music Education Association Music Festival. Congratulations to Anna Jones ’22, selected to the All-State Choir, and Rohan Marr ’23, chosen to participate in the Composition Track. Additionally, Rohan was awarded first place in the rap and hiphop category of the ILMEA Composition Contest.
