Through our community’s generosity to the For Generations to Come campaign, Wheaton Academy added 43,000 square feet of new and remodeled space to our campus this year.
Wheaton Academy’s Math Team made history this year, winning the ICTM Division 2A State Championship at Illinois State University, the first state title in program history.

For the fourth semester in a row, Wheaton Academy’s FTX Bros team—Charles Scherer, Daniel Ciszek, TJ Sias, and Gabe Stein Rodrigues—won the $1M Calamos MarketWatch Competition, outperforming 30–70 teams from schools across Chicagoland. Over four semesters, they’ve accumulated $850,000 in trading gains.
Fourteen Wheaton Academy students competed at the DECA State competition!
Four students who competed at State on our Mock Trial team received Certificates of Merit! Congratulations Eli Halpin, Sofie Barton, Marion Anderson, and Maddie Griffin!
Academy by Design students presented their human-centered design projects through interactive demonstrations at an Expo in May.
Students in Academy by design are building habitats and designing feeder systems for our new zoo location in the basement of the STC.
Wheaton Academy instills a unique love for learning. In my four years as a student at Wheaton Academy, I’ve been challenged to perform at my best for the glory of God in the classroom, on athletic teams, and in co-curricular clubs.

Thirty senior athletes signed to play in college. Special congratulations to our three Division 1 athletes!
Student-athletes led FCA Wheaton Christian Grammar School and are involved in coaching and instructing in multiple FCA youth programs.
Warrior teams continue to use team travel as a cultural component of Wheaton Academy athletics, This Winterim, the Wrestling team traveled to Hawaii while Basketball teams travelled to the Dominican Republic. Both teams experienced serving and competing with teams from the respective local communities.
Boys Cross Country: Michael Osielski ’25 and Miguel Boney ’27 qualified for the IHSA State Finals.
Girls Cross Country: The entire team advanced to the IHSA State Finals.
Football: Conference Champions 2nd consecutive year ’23 & ’24; State qualifier
Boys Golf: Owen Coniaris ’27 and Ben Patel ’28 tied for 2nd at State.

Girls Tennis: Brielle Ziman ’25 and Analeigh Hoogerheide ’25 advanced to the IHSA State series in the doubles competition.
Girls Volleyball: Regional Champions for the 2nd consecutive year ’23 & ’24
Basketball: Hayden and Abby Schroeder both scored their 1000th career point—they are the first brother-sister combo to achieve this feat at Wheaton Academy.
Competitive Cheer: Program expanded to include both Varsity and JV teams for the first time. Together, they competed in eight competitions—the most in program history. The JV team brought home a Conference Championship.
Wrestling: Chasen Kazmierczak ’25 (157 lbs) and Lincoln Hoger ’26 (132 lbs) both surpassed 100 career wins this season. Chasen earned 4th place finish at the IHSA State tournament and Lincoln reached the Elite 8. Tyler Jones ’26 (165 lbs) was also a state qualifier.
Boys Baseball: 20-win season for the 3rd consecutive year
Lacrosse: Finished 3rd in State, Final Four participant for four of last five years
Girls Softball: Played in the Regional Final 2nd consecutive year ’23 & ’24
Girls Soccer: Conference Champion 2nd consecutive year ’23 & ’24; Reached the Regional Final
Boys Tennis: Conference Champion; Eddie Dykema ’25 and Elliot Poland ’26 made the sweet sixteen at the State Finals Doubles Tournament, earning All-State Honors
Boys Track & Field: Seven athletes qualified for the state preliminaries, and six advanced to finals—all six earning All-State recognition by finishing in the top 9 in their events. This achievement shattered the previous school record of two All-State athletes in a single season. The 4x800m relay team—Michael Osielski ’25, Miguel Boney ’27, Danny O’Carroll ’25, and Luke Osterholm ’26—broke the school record with a time of 8:03 in finals. The team finished 9th in Illinois, securing All-State honors. Emery Eckert ’25 earned All-State in the 100m, running a personal best 10.73 in the finals to place 7th overall. Griffin Schlenbecker ’26 claimed 4th place in high jump, clearing 1.96 meters.
Girls Track & Field: The girls team wrapped up a championship season by breaking two school records at State. Sydnie Becker ’28 set a new program best in the 400m, running a 58.86. The 4x800m relay team—Sydnie Becker ’28, Annie Stoner ’25, Maggie Clousing ’28, and Addie Painter ’27—with a time of 10:02.72.

Wheaton Academy has helped me make my faith my own. Through chapel twice a week, spiritual life week, and Christ-centered curriculum, this school makes it a top priority that students are nourished in the word of God.

Our Concert Choir and Instrumental Program both toured nationally!
Audiences flocked to Academy Theatre’s production of Singin' in the Rain, involving nearly 200 students in a wide range of roles.
Using the new IDEA Lab, engineering students worked with Mr. Burick to design and implement a rain system for live theatre, circulating 90-100 gallons of water during each performance of Singin’ in the Rain.
Our visual arts program hosted Artfest, an art show featuring work from students across the Chicagoland Christian Conference.
Two students earned state-wide recognition at ILMEA in January! Toby Morden represented Wheaton Academy as a percussionist in the ILMEA All-State Orchestra, and Adelyn Cathey earned 3rd place at State in the singer/songwriter category of the music composition contest.

During our spring Spiritual Life Week, Dr. Thomas West shared his testimony and challenged our community greatly in chapel and at our Q&A lunch sessions attended by over 140 students.

A group of students from Wheaton Academy and Wheaton North gather regularly to share the good news of Jesus at Woodfield Mall. Another team of students spent Winterim in Scotland, where they were trained in street evangelism.
Senior Trip 2025 perfectly blended adventure, community, and spiritual growth! Students had a thrilling time at Universal Studios, but the time at Real Life Camp was the highlight. The heart of the Senior Trip was reflection-remembering what God has done these last four years, navigating change, and looking ahead with faith. Students wrote thank-you notes to those who guided them, built each other up with encouragement and appreciation over a bonfire, and expressed gratitude.

On Friday, September 27, 2024, the Wheaton Academy student body gathered to dedicate the Cross Plaza, a new space on campus constructed as part of For Generations to Come, Wheaton Academy’s most recent capital campaign.
Birthday gifts to the Warrior Fund helped us continue to maximize transformational learning experiences.
Teachers, coaches, and directors held me to a high standard of excellence so I could grow in my talents and abilities for the glory of God. I learned that a good education is one that pushes me to my limit because that is where growth occurs.
